After School Program

The After School Program provides an enjoyable atmosphere with various activities including outdoor play, art activities, indoor games and homework time. Our professional staff will provide your child with after school day care, Monday through Friday from 2:30 to 5:30. A snack and drink are provided each day.

After snack and weather permitting, children will be taken outside to play in the recess yard. In inclement weather children will play in the cafeteria or in classrooms. Homework time begins at 4:00 in the St. Francis Center library.  Computer and library time is offered after homework is completed. Please call the St. Francis Center after 4:00 if you will be late picking up (781) 599-2078.

Credit will not be given for early pick-up. If you sign your child up to stay for 1 hour and you pick up early, you still pay for the entire hour. The cost per hour this year is $8.50. Credit will be given for absences only.

Scheduling is done on a monthly basis and all fees must be paid with your monthly calendar. You may also take advantage of this service on an as-needed basis. Simply contact the school office the day you need your child to stay. Payment for last minute scheduling is expected at the time of pick up.

Students in the After School Program follow the same rules and regulations outlined in the School Handbook. Therefore, any problem with a student’s behaviour may result in that student being dismissed from the program.

If you are interested in participating in the After School Program please complete and return the After School Program Registration form, the After School Program calendar (a new calendar will be distributed each month) and a check for payment.
